The Imperial Hotel Spa launched its new in-house products a while ago. The line is called Sufi and has been created by its Spa Director Tara Herron. The Launch was attended by the media and several spa personalities and Tara gave us an intro to the products after which an elaborate high tea was served to all the guests.

Tara shared with me that she spent a cosiderable time researching the herbs, medicinal plants oils and aromas to combine and produce a new range which would be unique to what is available in India. Each oil has a distinct aroma and is named after various Saints (not necessarily of the Sufi tradition) such as Rumi, Kabir, Mira Bai etc. The base oils are all pure cold pressed oils of almond, apricot, jojoba etc.
Unforutnately the Imperial Spa is not open to the public so you cant experience this oil in a treatment but it should be available in the Imperial Shop to buy.
